Final travel Plans

Icing on the cake: Brasil vs Côte d'Ivoire

sunny 26 °C

So, we've finally put everything together.

A few snapshots:

Number of people traveling : Three (Sesh, my brother and I)
Number of matches that will be watched: Four (Netherlands vs Denmark, Netherlands vs Cameroon, Netherlands vs Japan, Brasil vs Côte d'Ivoire)

We're all pretty excited since we found tickets for the Brasil vs Côte d'Ivoire game on the 20th of June at Jo-burg. It lead to a rapid change of plans from the old itinerary but we managed to put it all in anyway.

Essentially, we will be traveling from different places (US and Australia) and arriving at Jo-burg on the 13th of June. Our first match (Neds vs Denmark) is on the 14th of June.
We then drive up to Kruger the next morning and then fly out to Durban to spend a few days there and watch the second game (Neds vs Japan) on the 19th of June.
The next morning we fly out to Jo-burg to catch the star show (Brasil vs Côte d'Ivoire) on the 20th and then fly back down to Port Elizabeth on the 21st. I'm out of breath just writing all of this stuff - we're going to be quite busy running up and down the country.
The last leg will involve a car rental and a drive down the garden route from Port Elizabeth to Kynsna for some crazy bungee jumping.
Final destination - Cape Town where we will watch our last match (Neds vs Cameroon) on the 23rd of June and also go Shark Diving at Gaansbai.

I figured this might all be a pain to read so I went ahead and created a quick travel itinerary using pictures so it would save us some time. Take a look below:

Exciting is a bit of an understatement for me, I'm sure my fellow travelers will agree. I hope to be able to capture a bit if not most of this on camera/video to share with you all - my brother is usually quite good about taking pictures so we'll leave all that up to him.

Have a great weekend folks. I'll write again soon with more updates.
Take care,
Sandeep - signing out...
